Who may use Dopamine Tax

Dopamine Tax is intended for people aged 13 or older. Where local law requires a parent or guardian to authorize a minor's use or acceptance of terms, that authorization remains the responsibility of the user and guardian.

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it to control another person's device without permission.

Move gently and keep control

Gentle movement is enough to complete the challenge. Dopamine Tax does not require forceful shaking. You are responsible for deciding whether your surroundings and physical condition make movement safe.

• Hold the device securely with a comfortable grip and use short, controlled movements.
• Do not use the movement challenge while driving, cycling, walking, operating machinery, or near people, fragile objects, traffic, water, or another hazard.
• Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, discomfort, or loss of control.
• You can always choose Wait instead of completing the movement challenge.

Device access and compatibility

On Android, protection depends on Usage Access, Appear on top, and a foreground service. Product state and motion signals remain on the device. Availability, timing, battery use, and background behavior may vary by device, Android version, manufacturer settings, and battery optimization.

If you observe unusual heat, battery drain, instability, or permission behavior, stop protection and contact Dacnabe Studios. Keep Android and the app updated when an approved update is available.

What the product does not guarantee

Dopamine Tax adds an intentional pause before early re-entry. It does not guarantee uninterrupted blocking or prevent every way of viewing content. Android, revoked permissions, Force stop, Picture-in-Picture owned by another app, manufacturer behavior, or a device failure may limit protection.

The product does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent addiction, ADHD, anxiety, depression, or any medical or mental-health condition. Do not rely on it for emergencies, personal safety, device security, parental control, legal compliance, or access control for another person.

Responsibility and mandatory rights

Use reasonable care, hold your device securely, and stop when conditions are unsafe. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dacnabe Studios is not responsible for indirect, unforeseeable, special, or business losses that do not result directly from a failure for which it is legally responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited. This includes rights and remedies that apply to defective software, inadequate instructions, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or damage where exclusion is prohibited by law.

Free version and future changes

The current release is free and includes no subscription, payment, account, advertising, analytics, or remote product tracking. A future paid feature requires separate terms and store disclosures before it becomes available.

We may update the app or these Terms to improve safety, compatibility, or functionality. A new published version will show an updated version or date. Changes do not remove rights already granted by applicable law.
